Judge Stops Debtor's Prisons

Finally a judge with some common sense and mercy. Private companies having a play in corrections,  is absolutely wrong. Too many conflicts of interests. Private contractors should not be involved in the justice system. There are too many who have a profit motive in locking everyone up they can. A 132 dollar fee to do community service is insane. People should not be jailed for bills they can't afford. This country is losing it on multiple fronts. --The Squawker
